Calypso “She Who Conceals”

By January 16, 2026January 22nd, 2026No Comments2 min read

hide away honey
don’t bide your time
you don’t need to be here
you won’t be mine

find a place for you
among the familiar seas
desire the things that make you
you won’t belong to me

and if he was the one to take you
if he could be the savior
could you take out all your secrets
and make our deal later?

Calypso
Calliope
my muse
and we hope
on the island
by the eternal sea
she won’t return to me
the ships set sail
on the wings of
the blanc dove
the one who is love
once belonged to me
the internal feels
of the eternal fear
she who conceals
you draw her to you near
Calypso,
there is no greater woe
than the one
who’s not meant to know.
my Calypso.

take your wine, baby
don’t be afraid
the things that will fill you
are not how you were made

and when the night
crosses over
and the lust
won’t go away
desire the the things that make you
want to kneel down and pray

Calypso
Calliope
my muse
and we hope
on the island
by the eternal sea
she won’t return to me
the ships set sail
on the wings of
the blanc dove
the one who is love
once belonged to me
the internal feels
of the eternal fear
she who conceals
you draw her to you near
Calypso,
there is no greater woe
than the one
who’s not meant to know.
my Calypso.

and if he could save her
he’d heal the things inside him, alone
but he himself, the doctor
and no, she’s not the one he owns

dawning on the apocalypse
the 3rd new moon eclipse
still he is,
the only thing he’s ever known.

Calypso.
