The Cooperative Rational

Temperament Conversational Overview

Reassociative Language

Making statements about things that don’t matter to the conversation–to lesser brains–but do matter to the whole conversation, and losing footing fast.

i.e. As Heard Over Dinner:
Other – Let’s think of a time, kids, when we can all get together and talk about what we learned during the week? I would love to hear–”
the CR – “What if we decided to go to church on Saturdays?”
Other – “We weren’t talking about Church.”
the CR – “I know, but if Church was Saturday, we would have more time for Sunday being the day we talk. Whatever,  just dig in.”

Paradoxal Referential

Making References to things that are fake.

i.e. “You sound like Falkor right now.”

Harmonic Reasoning

Making Reasons as to why they did do things, based on how angry they are. (They would never make a reasoned statement about you, and what you did, UNLESS they were so angry they could not stop).

i.e. “Of course, I would never tell your husband that you were f***ing me, but I would tell him, if it meant that you would get out of my hair!” –or– “Oh yes, I am on it, I will be doing that for you as soon as I can.”

Connected Syntax

Making Sentence structure very structured.

i.e. “I am going to go to the gym. I will be back soon.”

Cognizant Rhetorical

Making Rhetorical statements about what you can remember. Otherwise, you would never make a rhetorical statement, due to pointlessness.

i.e. “Ronald Reagan was the best president, and he makes me understand political power today.

Directive Intellect

Making very precise statements about the things that they are going to do.

i.e. “I’m gonna go to the store, do you need anything?”
