The Age you are
Is the Age of me
Come to me
But barely.
And you’ll see.
I wanted to know the feeling
Of being me
I was stealing sex
From a histrionic type
But I still came despite
My being me.
Who cares about her.
I did.
But I can’t anymore.
I’m no longer the girl next door.
Mermaids, Fated
Brushes of destiny
Jupiter, Venus
Off on a quest for me
I am the one to
bring you down
So grab something,
before you drown
Unveil your face
At least try to see
They’re only going
To defile you & me.
Mermaids, Fated
Brushes of destiny
Jupiter, Venus
Off on a quest for me
I was dealing with the love
From a different kind of man
Saying,
Come lay down
At the end of the world,
You are no longer haunted
By being you
Who cares about me.
I did.
But I can’t anymore.
You’ve never been the boy next door.
Mermaids, Fated
Brushes of destiny
Jupiter, Venus
Off on a quest for me
You don’t know these
Phantom ghosts
But they’re real to me,
I feel them the most–
Please just love me.
Oh the rage, the pain
The hope
Of being me.
Mermaids, Fated
Brushes of destiny
Jupiter, Venus
Off on a quest for me
Mermaids, Fated
Brushes of destiny
Jupiter, Venus
Off on a quest for me
The age you are
Is the Age of me
Come to me
But barely.
And you’ll see.
Mermaids, Fated
Brushes of destiny
Jupiter, Venus
Off on a quest for me
Mermaids, Fated
Brushes of destiny
Jupiter, Venus
Off on a quest for me
I’m not like you anymore.
